At HotTopic, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your order, our Refund and Returns Policy outlines the steps you need to take to return or exchange items. Please review our policy carefully.
1. Returns Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:
- Return Window: You may return items within 30 days of receiving your order. After 30 days, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds.
- Condition of Items: Items must be unused, unworn, and in the original condition with all tags, packaging, and accessories intact. Items that are damaged, worn, or altered in any way will not be eligible for a return.
- Non-Returnable Items: Some items are non-returnable, including but not limited to:
- Gift cards
- Final sale items
- Items purchased in-store (unless otherwise specified)
2. Initiating a Return
To initiate a return, follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at info@hottopic.click with your order number and the reason for the return. If your return is due to a defect or incorrect item received, please include a photo.
- Return Authorization: Once we receive your request, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and provide instructions for returning your item. Please note that returns without an RA number will not be accepted.
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return is received.
3. Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If your return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
4. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or product, we recommend returning the original item for a refund and placing a new order. If the item you want to exchange is defective or we made an error, we will assist you in processing an exchange directly.
5. Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will provide you with a return label at no additional cost and issue a full refund or replacement once the return is processed.
6. Gift Returns
If you received an item as a gift and wish to return it, you may exchange it for another item or receive a store credit for the value of the gift.
7. International Returns
For international orders, please contact us for instructions on how to return an item. Return shipping costs for international orders are the responsibility of the customer, and refunds will be issued in U.S. dollars.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within the stated time, please:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
- Contact your bank or payment provider, as there may be a delay in processing the refund.
